Presentation of the new cd "Tenorio" a chamber opera by Tomás Marco

Tomás Marco (Madrid 1942) publishes 'Tenorio', on the Cezanne label.

'Tenorio' is a chamber opera, composed between 2008 and 2009 by order of the Estonian Musical Burgalés 2010. Released in 2017 in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, focuses its libretto (work of the composer) in the figure of Don Juan Tenorio, with texts by Zorrilla, Tirso de Molina, Moliere, Lord Byron, Da Ponte, Goldoni, Zamora, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, Quevedo and others.

The work is interpreted in this record by Santiago Serrate directing the Modus Novus Group, whose members are part of the RTVE Symphony Orchestra. The soloists of the work are Alfredo García (Baritone), Juan Antonio Sanabria (Tenor) and Carmen Gurriarán (soprano)

Tomás Marco, composer, Santiago Serrate, director and Javier Monteverde, musical producer, will act as moderator in the presentation of the critic Arturo Reverter.
